About the Trail
Created as part of Dumfries and Galloway College’s 65th anniversary celebrations, this trail shares the story of the College’s journey from its early beginnings in Dumfries to the modern learning community you see today.
Each stop highlights a different part of that story — education, creativity, wellbeing, partnership, community, leadership and opportunity. You can follow the waymarkers in order, or choose the points that interest you most.
